This 2-star tourist-class hotel is situated further from the city centre in a residential area of Prague 5 in the west of the city, however within easy 20-min journey by public transport from the historical centre. Basic but clean and comfortable accommodation of excellent value suitable for budget travellers.***LOCATION*** The hotel is located about 8km from the city centre in the western part of the city. The area is mostly residential. The hotel lies near the access to D5 motorway and not very far from the airport (about 15 min by taxi). All important tourist areas can be easily reached within 20 mins by public transport. The tram stop is only 100m from the hotel; tram 9 goes directly to Wenceslas Square. After midnight there is a tram that departs from the city centre twice an hour straight to the hotel. The nearest metro - Andel - and the Andel shopping centre (largest shopping mall in Prague) are about 10 min journey by tram from the hotel. ***EXTERIOR*** The property is a 3-storey plain modern building with no interesting features. ***ROOMS*** Rooms are very plain and simple, but relatively spacious and comfortable. The furnishing is basic and old fashioned and the decor of both rooms and bathrooms is slightly dated and reflecting the style of the socialist period. However, the rooms are very clean and have all necessary amenities. ***RESTAURANTS & BARS*** There is a restaurant on the 1st floor that serves international cuisine. A snack bar on the ground floor offers hot and cold beverages. Continental buffet breakfast is included.
