: The Estación Sur Hostel offers a slightly different hostel experience. The hostel consists of an entirely renovated old house featuring everything from double rooms to rooms sleeping up to six people. Each room is decorated uniquely with an interesting decades' theme we hope really illuminates our Argentinean cultural past. Classic furnishings with quirky touches define the style of the hostel. Artistic details can be found in every nook and cranny. A distinct sense of retro can be found throughout. We encourage participation in the various activities offered which include art exhibitions, live music, tango, barbeques and the chance to sample some of our local cuisine. :Location We are a few metres away from the main places of interest in the city: The traditional De Mayo Avenue, with its European style, displays the different architectural trends that are part of the city. The National Congress and the Plaza de los Dos Congresos (square). The famous 9 de Julio Avenue. The Obelisco, an emblem of the city.How to get there: Ask for our inout radio taxi services; tell us the day, time and flight number and we will send one to pick you up.Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza (international airport): Bus N 8: to Plaza de los Dos Congresos (Hipólito Yrigoyen and Solís streets). About 1 hour 45 minutes. From there, a 350 metre-walk along Solís street. Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (domestic flights airport): Bus N 37 (along Costanera avenue): Get off at the corner of Combate de los Pozos street and Belgrano avenue. From there, a 200-metre walk to Solís street. 25 minutes. Retiro bus station: Underground line C to Moreno station. From there, a 600-metre walk along Belgrano avenue to Solís street. 15 minutes. Undergorund line C to Avenida de Mayo station, connect with line A to Congreso station. From there, walk to Solís street and then along this for 300 metres. 15 minutes. Bus N 6 or N 50: Get off at the corner of Solís street and Belgrano avenue. 20 minutes. Dársena Norte (north dock) (Buquebús) Bus N 6 or N 50: Get off at the corner of Solís street and Belgrano avenue. 20 minutes. |
